Chocolate Banana Cookies – Recipe

If you have leftover bananas and don’t want to go the banana cake route why not try making a banana cookie. This was my first attempt at these and I was rather pleased with how they came out. I will note that they are a very soft cookie so if you don’t like your cookies to have a slightly muffiny texture these will not be the treat for you.

How Were the Chocolate Banana Cookies?
I really liked them. They are not too sweet and the banana flavor comes through quite strongly.
They are a very soft, cake like cookie and the nuts add a touch of crunch and help to bring an additional flavor dimension. The chips add another layer of chocolate. Another use for overripe bananas other than a bundt cake.
