The folic acid is the thing in prenatal vitamins that is really important for women who are pregnant and women who are trying to get pregnant.
Before getting pregnant I visited my gynecologist and showed her the prenatal vitamins I was taking and she said they looked great.
All of the following pills are vegan, which means that they are free from dairy, gelatin, meat, fish, and any other animal products.
Here are 10 prenatal vitamins for vegans you should take before, during, and after your pregnancy while you are breastfeeding:

2. Deva Vegan Prenatal Multivitamins
These are the pills I use. I have been taking them everyday for about a year and a half. I take them every morning with breakfast and they’re not too hard on my stomach.
Other than while pregnant, I have only thrown them up once because I didn’t eat a big breakfast.
I took these while trying to get pregnant, during my whole pregnancy, and I’ve continued taking them since then because I’ve been pumping and nursing since my babies were born. I buy these from Amazon.
3. Naturelo Prenatal Multivitamin
This vitamin is non-GMO and gluten-free. Vegan prenatal vitamins with DHA are important, and this one has DHA. It also has folate and iron in it.

These vitamins are made from 100% natural whole foods. They are to be taken once a day.
5. No Fish No Fish Vegan Prenatal
