Homemade Christmas sugar scrub bars will be a HIT, whether you make them for yourself or you make them for gift giving. They are easy to make and feel wonderful on your skin!

Materials

  • ½ cup of sugar
  • 2 tbsp grapeseed oil
  • 2 - 1” cubes of goats milk melt and pour soap base
  • 1/8 teaspoon Wine red mica powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon Silver white mica powder

Tools

  • Microwave safe bowl or 2-4 cup measuring cup
  • Wooden craft stick for stirring
  • Holiday Time Mix Mold

Instructions

    1. Place soap base into a microwave-safe bowl or measuring cup. Heat for 20-30 seconds, and stir well.
    2. Add oil and sugar. Stir until blended. You may have to heat it again for 15 seconds if it is starting to solidify.
    3. Add silver-white mica powder, stir.
    4. Pour into snowflake, tree, and snowman cavities in your mold.
    5. Add wine red mica powder to the remaining mixture and heat for 10 seconds to liquefy again. Stir well.
    6. Pour into remaining Santa, stocking, and candy cane mold cavities.
    7. Let sit for about an hour.
    8. Store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.
