Who doesn’t just love chocolate? I know that I just can’t get enough sometimes and today I wanted to share these amazing double chocolate muffins. They are super easy to make and your family will LOVE them.

One thing that I like about this recipe is that it takes literally 5 minutes to prep and 20 minutes to bake. Now that is what I call “super easy”. To make the double chocolate muffins you just need a couple of things and this recipe does not use prepacked muffin mix so you really can take control of this recipe.

What You Need For Double Chocolate Muffins

  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ cup of sugar
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips

Below you will find the full recipe that you can print out to save but I wanted to go through a couple of steps. The first thing you will want to do is to preheat your oven. Next, in a large bowl, beat together the eggs and sugar until thickened. Add milk, sour cream, and vanilla extract. Beat until well combined.

Bake the muffins in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes. The muffins are done when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

You will want to let them cool in the pan for a bit before taking them out and putting them onto a wire rack to finish cooling.
