This is one of my favorite homemade play dough recipes. Make it during your next play time and thank me for it later. This is a fun way to make a new kind of play dough.

It has such a fun texture. Both young kids and older kids are going to have so much fun!

Ingredients:

1 cup of frosting (I used Pillsbury Funfetti frosting)

3/4 cup of cornstarch plus 1 tablespoon

Frosting play dough ingredients.

Directions:

  1. Add the frosting and corn starch into a medium sized bowl.
  2. Mix both ingredients together.
  3. Knead it with your hands until everything is the right consistency.
  4. Store the play dough in an airtight container or ziplock bag for about 6 months.
  5. Enjoy! Now you’re ready for all sorts of fun sensory activities.

To make the frosting play dough even more fun, you can use cookie cutters, ice cream scooper, and even add add a little bit of colorful sprinkles if you’d like.

My kids are obsessed with this play dough. Ever since I made it, they beg to play with it. They call it the “new” play dough.
