30 Exciting Indoor Winter Activities For Adults
I have fun doing outdoor activities in the winter, but most of the time I like to stay inside and stay warm. If you’re like me, then you’ll love this list of indoor winter activities for adults so you don’t get bored this winter. Make sure you add these to your winter bucket list.
Indoor Winter Activity For Adults #1 – Make Fondue

Fondue is so yummy. It’s fun to make and eat. You can do all different kinds of fondue, but chocolate is my favorite. This recipe for vegan chocolate fondue is from Fran Costigan.

2. Listen to Audiobooks
You can listen to audiobooks while doing household chores or just while laying in bed. You can get a free trial of Audible here to get started listening to audiobooks.

3. Write Down Your Resolutions

4. Make Homemade Hot Cocoa

5. Try A New Recipe

We love cooking something new together. One of our favorites to make is our Pad Thai recipe. It’s warm, comforting, and a little spicy.
6. Learn About Essential Oils And Use Them

7. Learn How To Knit
Knitting would be a fun thing to do while watching a movie or just relaxing. It’s always fun to pick up a new skill.
8. Binge Watch TV Shows
Binge watching a tv show is always better than watching one episode a week. We loved binge watching Younger, Jane the Virgin, New Girl and more.
9. Play Card Games
Card games are fun to play with a group of people and have a game night, or you can play solitaire by yourself. If you need a deck of cards, you can get one here.
10. Have A Movie Marathon

11. Decorate For Holidays
I absolutely love to decorate for all the holidays! In the winter you can decorate for Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day, and Mardi Gras. These decorative pillow covers and inserts will help you get started with winter decorating. Indoor activities like this can be done with your whole family.
12. Gratitude Journal
A gratitude journal will help you with self-exploration and with focusing on being grateful.
