Caramel Buttered Popcorn Cookies
With the holiday season in full swing — from cozy fall gatherings to winter celebrations — I couldn’t wait to share this recipe that’s almost too good to be true. These Caramel Buttered Popcorn Cookies are the perfect blend of sweet, salty, and buttery goodness.
Whether you’re hosting a party, need a fun treat for a cookie exchange, or just want something delicious to snack on while wrapping gifts or watching holiday movies, these cookies deliver. They’ve got my all-time favorite ingredient (hello, caramel ?) and the nostalgic flavor of buttery popcorn — a combo that’ll have your taste buds dancing with joy!

During the holiday I adore making cookies and try to make different ones each week for my family and friends. These have to have been the best darn cookies. Did I mention they are easy to make! Why yes, they are! With just a few simple ingredients you can be chowing down on these as well.

Simple Step By Step Directions
In a medium-size mixing bowl, add the butter, brown sugar, and regular sugar. Beat on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add the egg, vanilla, and butter extract, beat until incorporated. Add the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt and beat well.

Stir in the popped popcorn. Some will break, and that is okay.

Scoop out about 2 tablespoons of cookie dough and roll into a ball. Place on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Make sure to leave cookies about 2 inches apart because they do spread.

Bake in a 350-degree oven for 8-10 minutes or until edges are slightly brown. They will finish cooking on the cookie sheet while cooling for about 5 minutes. Remove from pan and let cool completely. In a glass bowl, add the caramel bits with 1 tablespoon of water and heat for about 45 seconds or until melted. Drizzle over cookies and let set.

How simple is that!!!!! These are totally amazing and sure to wow your guest with flavor, also they might want the recipe as well ;)
