It is made of mouthwatering instant coffee, sugar, and your choice of milk.
Dalgona coffee (Korean: ?????) is a beverage made by whipping equal proportions of instant coffee powder, sugar, and hot water until it becomes creamy and then adding it to cold or hot milk.
Personally, I enjoy to have Dalgona Coffee using cold milk or milk substitutes such as soy, or even rice milk works very well.
Below I will have a printable recipe on how I made my own Dalgona Coffee but first, let’s walk through a couple of steps.
What You Need:
- 2 tablespoons of instant coffee
- 2 tablespoons of hot water
- 2 tablespoons of white sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

How To Make Dalgona Coffee?
The one thing that makes the Dalgona Coffee is the whipped coffee that is on the top of course.

Add the coffee, hot water, white sugar and vanilla extract to a bowl and mix with a hand mixer for 3-4 minutes or by hand with a whisk for 10-15 minutes.

The coffee should turn a light brown or tan color and is light and fluffy.

I would highly suggest using a hand mixer as the texture will be perfect doing so. You can whisk by hand by I have found the texture not to be exactly right.

Once your mixture is done it is time to enjoy. All you have to do is add a spoonful or two to some cold milk or even hot if you would like.

You can top your DALGONA Coffee with fruit, chocolate, or even ground cinnamon. The toppings really are endless.
