Autumn is finally here!!

I first made this sangria for the parents in our neighborhood during trick-or-treating — it was such a hit! Since then, I’ve brought it to fall work parties and Thanksgiving celebrations, and it’s always a crowd favorite. It’s one of my go-to drinks to serve guests because it’s so easy to make, and I always get tons of compliments on it.

You won’t believe how easy this Caramel Apple Sangria is to make! A few simple ingredients, a quick stir, and a little time to chill — that’s all it takes to create a delicious fall cocktail everyone will love. Whether you’re hosting friends or just treating yourself, this drink delivers cozy autumn flavor with zero stress.

How to Make the Caramel Apple Sangria

Prepare the Apples

Wash, core, and chop the apples. Firmer apple varieties work best to prevent them from becoming mushy. I prefer Gala or Honeycrisp.  You could also use a combination of one of these varieties and some Granny Smith for some extra color.

Add Ingredients to the Serving Container

Place the apples in your serving container.  I used a decorative drink dispenser to serve for a fall party and made a double recipe.  Pour the caramel over the apples.  Pour in the wine, vodka and apple cider.  Mix and serve.  If you haven’t tried Svedka vodka, you should! It is dangerously smooth! Much better than Tito’s or Gray Goose and much more affordable too.  Perfect for making a sangria drink like this!

How to Serve

Garnish the Glasses (Optional):
Right before serving, make your glasses extra special! Pour a little caramel sauce onto one small plate and brown sugar (or cinnamon sugar) onto another. Dip the rim of each glass into the caramel, then into the sugar mixture for a sweet, sparkling touch — it adds a lovely hint of fall flavor and makes every sip feel a bit more festive.

Serve:
Give the sangria one last gentle stir, then pour into ice-filled, rimmed glasses. For a little sparkle, add a splash of ginger ale or sparkling water just before serving. Don’t forget to include a few of those juicy apple pieces in each glass — they look beautiful and taste even better!
