Breakfast in Bed Ideas for Valentine’s Day
Valentine’s Day is commonly known as a day for lovers, to celebrate and rejoice in the love we share with our parents, partners and also friends. However, over the years, the trend has been leaning towards more commercialization.
In almost every country that recognizes Valentine’s Day will increase the prices of flowers, chocolates and jewelries and restaurants will start to introduce set dinners with exorbitant rates.
What happened to the romance in simplicity?

Rather than placing a price tag on love, wouldn’t it be amazing to be able to share an experience together, as a couple?
For this year’s Valentine’s Day, why not present the gift of experience by waking up a little earlier and preparing a delicious and romantic breakfast to start the day?
Here is one idea to get you started:
Heart-Shaped Blueberry Pancakes Recipe

1/2 cups of fresh blueberries (can be replaced with chocolate chips or strawberry slices)
1 tbsp of baking powder

1/2 cup of vegetable oil (can be replaced with butter)
1/3 cup of brown sugar
Salt to taste
Cookie Cutters
Whipped cream or ice cream (optional)

2. Then add in the blueberries, strawberry slices or chocolate chips if you like.
3. Heat up the frying pan and use the rest of the oil.
4. Using a soup ladle, spoon the batter onto the pan when the oil is hot. You can replace the oil with butter for a more fragrant pancake.
5. Cook each side for about 1 minute or until it starts to turn golden brown.
6. Continue until batter runs out.
7. Place the individual pancakes on a flat, dry surface then use the cookie cutter to form the shape of a heart. If you don´t have a heart-shaped cookie cutter, you can use a knife but keep your hands still.
8. Stack the pancakes together, sprinkle fresh fruits and top with ice cream or whipped cream.
