Easy Porch Pillows Using The Cricut Joy

Hello, everyone. I hope that you are having a wonderful day. Today I wanted to share with you, an amazing and simple way to update your space with the Cricut Joy. We will be focusing on, how the circuit Joy can help you transform your deck or porch area.

Being able to customize in such a simple way, is the reason that the Cricut Joy is my go-to when creating amazing DIY projects. For this project, and I’m sure most of you already know, that I had my hand operated on so I will only be using one hand to create these amazing new pillows for my outdoor space. so just imagine what you can do with two hands.
Using the Cricut joy as well as the new circuit pillowcases I was able to make these cute and perfect pillows for my outdoor space. The first thing of course you need to do is to figure out your design. Personally, I wanted something that was simple yet made a statement. So I came up with two designs that fit both my husband’s personality and my own.
One thing people might think when they see a Cricut Joy is that it might be able to make larger projects, but that is a total misconception. You can do just about everything your little heart desires with your new Joy. Making pillows is just one of the projects that you can create for your outdoor space.
So let’s get down to it. To get started you’ll want to pick out your colors of course. For one of my pillows, I chose just to use infusible link. For the second hello I use a combination of smart iron-on vinyl as well as the infusible link. I wanted to see how the combination would work together, and it came out perfect.
So let’s start with the first pillow. The pineapple pillow, that says sunshine and Cocktails was made with infusible ink made for the Cricut Joy. When you buy the infusible ink it comes with transfer sheets so you’re ready to print. the first thing that I did was to find the design that I loved in the circuit design space.

Once you have your design ready to print always make sure that you mirror your image. since this is a infusible ink, I decided to use the new circuit pillowcases to see how well they worked.
I could not be happier with how vibrant the colors are on the pillows. Just look at that pineapple!
I use the easy press 2, to heat my infusible ink, as well as my vinyl for my second pillow. If you already have a joy I would highly recommend that you get an easy press. It just makes things so much easier and the timing is always perfect.
The second pillow that I did was a combination of smart iron-on vinyl as well as the infusible ink. one thing that you have to keep in mind when using two different types is to make sure that your timing is perfect when it comes to your easy press. The vinyl and a fusible link have two different time settings and heat settings.

One thing about making these pillows is that it took less than 5 minutes to put it together. Even with one hand, I was able to get it done in about 4 minutes. That is not counting the time it took me to create the design, but that’s already done for you. So what are you waiting for grab your circuit and decorate your outdoor space.
