The frosting is piped using the 1A large round tip for the perfect smooth swirl. Kind of like a soft serve ice cream.

What Ingredients Do You Need For The Cupcakes?

- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup butter (room temperature)
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup crushed Oreos

- 2 cups butter (room temperature)
- 4 Cups powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup crushed Oreos
How Do You Make The Homemade Oreo Cupcakes

- Start making the cupcakes by beating 1 cup room temperature butter and granulated sugar until it’s fully combined and bit fluffy
- Mix in the eggs, milk, vanilla, baking powder, baking soda, and salt
- Sift in the flour and mix until smooth
- Fold in 1 cup of crushed Oreos
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees f
- Line cupcake pan with liners
- Spray the liners with cooking spray
- Fill them ¾ full with the batter
- Cook for 15 minutes
- While they’re baking make the homemade Oreo Buttercream Frosting
- Combine 2 cups butter (room temperature) with the powdered sugar and beat until combined
- Add in the heavy cream, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp salt, and 1 cup crushed Oreos
- Beat until smooth, make sure all the Oreos are crushed into very small fragments if you plan on piping

Tips/ Trick
- If you are going to pipe the frosting it’s important that the Oreos are fully crushed, even ground up, for the frosting. Use a food processor if necessary, otherwise the chunks will clog up the piping tip.
